has been in operation and producing reinforced rubber cushions in Canada since 1957. The most environmentally friendly product in the carpet cushion industry is Dura Undercushion, commercial carpet cushion and sound control cushions for ceramic, engineered wood, laminate and stone flooring.
Dura carpet cushions are manufactured with a cellular structure made from ground tire scrap rubber granules bonded with latex. These carpet cushions can be installed using either conventional "tackless" method or by the double-stick system and offer many advantages over any other types of cushion.
Dura cushion is manufactured in two thicknesses, both of which provide maximum carpet support and are engineered to withstand the most severe traffic conditions, as well as maintain a high level of comfort underfoot.
Dura products are made from 90% recycled material and our corporate policy is to improve on this standard and thereby help the world strive towards a goal of zero pollution. A typical truck tire will yield enough rubber to produce approximately 5 yards of Dura cushion.
